Earth Day

Blog by Doriana Zohil-Morton, Broker of Record/Owner | April 18th, 2019

On Monday, April 22, 2019 we mark Earth Day. In fact, it will mark the 49th Earth Day! Today, more than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day activities each year. That makes it the largest civic observance in the world.

Earth Day encourages people to contribute to environmental stewardship and conservation. Get to know the Earth. Put down the iPhone, turn off Netflix, get your family and friends together, and GO OUTSIDE. Visit a local park or conservation area. Participate in a fun, planned learning session outdoors. Pick up litter at the local Toronto or GTA park or beach. Plants some trees. Make a pledge with your family to reduce, reuse and recycle. Do your part to protect our Earth, and ensure our children have a cleaner environment. Teach your children to EarthPLAY on Earth Day. Join the World’s largest environmental movement!
